Stone Faced

I have this love affair with rocks. I have as long as I can remember. My mother was always frustrated I'm sure by my pockets being full of them. Now I know what to do with them.

The top bracelet is a variety of stones in bezels, with a sampler of textured copper links.
The necklace below is made from a carved stone face that Steph gave me that came from Mexico. It has a bit of Mexican opal showing on the forehead. The chin was very thin and delicate, so I had to stop the bezel at his cheeks. The beads are bone, carnelian, glass, and some handmade clay ones that Steph also gave me. I think he needs a name.

Hey!

I tried to find a spot where I could just comment on your page as a whole, but couldn't find it :)

I just wanted to say I LOVE so much of your work. I draw, paint, and have attempted making jewelry. I appreciate everyone's art and love to browse what other people do!

I also thought it was cool that you have home schooled your kids. I am the oldest of 8 kids who were home schooled. Although I am the only one that went right through high school. I know what a commitment it is to teach your kids! Good job! :)

Keep up the great work! I'll definitely be checking back!

I am so happy I found you through Etsy...your work just stands out in a sea of jewelry there! How could I NOT heart your jewelry?? These bezeled pieces are just incredible... I have absolutely no idea how this is done...it just takes my breath away. :-)
