My husband called from work this morning and said that we were invited to go to his sister's house tonight for her birthday. He said,"Make something artsy for her." I had just gotten through looking at a
blogsite for a lady who makes unique jewelry. I was inspired to make something from hammered wire. This is the necklace that I came up with. It is copper electrical wire, copper tubing, my own lampworked beads, and a couple of copper beads on a rubber cord.
Maybe I'll make myself one too.

Woww thanks ! I'm really honored .. and I love your necklace!
Funny you live in TN because I might spend a part of the summer there! ( well I cross my fingers I will!)
Hi Sherri
Lovely piece of jewellery.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
The wire is annealed steel wire from hardware or craft stores, I'm not sure where Nina buys hers. It has a black coating which you rub off with a scourer, that gives it the lovely aged look. You don't have to age it with liver of sulphur.
Ohhh it is soooo beautiful! I tell ya..the owner of that necklace is a lucky one! WOW! How amazing! I love it!
Love your necklace... lucky sister-in-law!!
Love how you have sculpted the copper and used the rubber and copper wire-lovely original piece of jewellery!!!
