Another Altered Aluminum Can Doll

This is my second try on the challenge of creating an art doll out of an aluminum soda can for my Altered Art Obsession group. I think this one will be a little easier to mail than my first attempt. My swap partner is the creator of a wonderful online art zine called ZNE. When I found out who my partner was, I was a little nervous about sending my work to someone who sees such wonderful work every day. Aluminum cans are not my best medium, but my doll is now winging her way to California to live with Chel.
Pictured are the doll and her fabric bag for traveling.

Wonderful work! I love the keys on her! I understand your being a lil nervous, I am like that to whenever I send my art to places. Although it's not often. Anyhoo, just wanted to let you know that I understand and your not alone. Plus, I wanted to compliment that beautiful doll you made! :)

She is wonderful! I am sure she will be appreciated. The blue green body is a wonderful colour and her shape is just perfect.

Appreciated is an understatement! I absolutely ADORE this doll, and she has already taken residence on the wall in my dining room. Thank you SO much!!

Your doll went postal priority, today. You'll have her in a couple days. Now it is my turn to be nervous!
